I’m running out of ideas. Thanks!

Worth 10 points!
The 1st answer is not what I’m looking for. I need an answer that tells me what technique did they put on the posters to make people volunteer to go in the war.
Milk and cookies: You’ve an excellent answer!!!! Thanks…

Number 1 is kinda blackmailing people into joining. It gives the idea that the man in the chair is going to be embarrassed and ashamed that he didn’t join. The fact his kids are there gives it more impact, as if he said he didn’t do anything in the war, his kids may not look up to him. Furthermore, the little boy is playing with war toys, so he is obviously interested in the subject. If his father can’t tell him great stories of how brave he was , he’d feel like a failure.

Number 2 gives the impression that women want men to go and fight. This may persuade men who didn’t want to go because they’dd leave their wives/mums/girlfriends. There are also a number a men in the pic, so they feel part of a group, ie not on their own.

Number 3 shows a lot of men, and as with number 3, the man reading it would feel part of a group, a community almost, if he joined. It gives the impression that theyre all in it together. It also implies that you SHOULD be there, because theyve left a space for you.

Because the 1st one will be like, he has kids, and he wants them to be proud of him, or because he wants to have a story for them. Maybe he wants to protect his country, therefore his family, too.

2nd – Men usually do anything to make their woman happy. If the woman wants the man to go fight, he probably will.

3rd – When it says "fit" the man wants to seem strong, and stuff. And he will know there are spots.

I don’t know, just a 13 year old’s guess.

I agree with Hayley’s answer.

Something to say?
