What does John 3:16 have to do with sports?
Posted In: Sport Posters by admin
All over I see "John 3:16" written on backs of t-shirts for sports teams, on posters at football games, etc.
I know it is an important verse, but what does it have to do with sports?

Swan,
Some people never get out of the house and when they do they have to let others know what they believe. They may not understand what it means but they can at the very least write the verse down and allow others to read it if they choose to do so. Have a great week.
Thanks,

.
Nothing.
It was a way to non-verbally spread the Gospel and show faith at the same time.
Nada
Absolutely nothing but a vain attempt to advertise for God because those who do this, do not think God is capable to advertise for Himself !
"That GOD so Loved the World that he gave his only Begotten SON….That whosoever believeth in him shall not PERISH, but have everlasting LIFE"…….
There must be a connection somewhere…….Let’s ponder over this collectively, as a Y/A TEAM, and see what we come up with.:)
nothing God does not care who wins a football game he cares about your soul and if you go to heaven or not he cares about if you go to heaven that it.
they are just trying to spread God’s word
It’s an advertisement for gay life style dear… How sweet !
John the "disciple whom Jesus loved" (John 13:23, 19:26, 21:7,20)
really nothing, i guess it just means that those teams are playing for God and that they worship him.
Nothing at all.
