Suggest a unique and visually interesting artist or piece of art for me to purchase.?
Posted In: Sport Posters by admin
An art print of something uunique and interesting that would appeal to an educated 22 year old straight guy straight out of college. (No beer posters, sports posters, etc., I want art).
It should be available on www.allposters.com
Those are good suggestions, but a little too mainstream for me. My favorite artist is Magritte and I have a huge print of his Golconda on my wall.
As for the "straight guy," that was a typo, though I am in fact a straight guy.
I can get a nice framed art print (of any print I want with a variety of framing options) shipped from allposters.com for under 0 when I use an easily available 20% off coupon. Your paintings are well out of my price range. My apologies.

This question is a little hard to answer. It depends on the kind of art you like, because there is so much to choose from with the many movements and types of art. For example, do you like modern, abstract, surreal, photography, etc.
Some popular unique artists (that might be of interest to a 22 year old, straight guy
) are Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Jackson Pollack, and M.C. Esher.

A few I like:
School of Athens, by Raphael. http://www.newbanner.com/AboutPic/SOA.html It depicts several philosophers and is a neat topic of conversation (if you like philosophy!).

Hi! My wife and I are artists, and you might like our work. Some of our original paintings are actually less expensive than some framed poster art.
See if you can find something that catches your eye at http://www.lagassegallery.com, or search ebay for ‘lagasse art’.
I have some unique textured oil paintings that you might like! Best regards, AJ
