posters in my room? am i too old?

i’m 20 years old, and i live at home. i live right beside a major city so i didnt have to move away for university. anyway, i still have posters in my room, sports-stars and musicians i really like mostly.
anyway i was just looking around my room, and i was wondering what age does this start becoming weird? like posters and everything. i don’t plan on moving out for at least a couple years, my parents and i agreed that i should finish school first.
lol pretty random question, but i dunno i guess im more curious for a girls opinion, would you find it weird ?

I don’t think it’s that weird. I mean, you’re college age, right? I think it’s still acceptable to have posters in college.

it doesn’t matter how old you are because it is your style
its not weird at all in my opinion. if the posters are of people or things you admire such as role models then there is nothing wrong with it.

I think it’s really cool to be able to see that someone else is like me.

Having idols on your wall isn’t something that is bad. It is just the way you might be showing them. Instead of "teenage" posters go out and invest in some framed nice looking portraits of these people. You’re not changing what you like, you are just becoming a little more sophisticated with it.
I’m a girl and I was wondering about this too! I don’t think it’s weird….my friend even bought me another poster for uni!!! I will be displaying it quite happily in my room which I’ll have people in! It shows your personal tastes so I think it’s acceptable!!

No it’s not weird at all. I’m 30 and have Scarface posters in my room. Who cares anyway.. they’re just posters. As long as you’re not bringing home your g/f to a room full of posters of naked women, I don’t think any girl is going to care about your posters.
Look, you are 20 years old. You are still technically a kid. Enjoy yourself and leave the posters up on your wall. If you were 30 and still have posters on the walls, well you may have issues. You are perfectly normal so stop worrying.
I guess it depends on the posters – you’re not being very specific. However, I remember my brother put up a bunch of posters when he was in his mid twenties and got his own place – I’ll post a pic.
I think it’s cool, though – if I went to your place, it’d be a good way to know what sort of stuff you like.

Nooo that’s not weird. honestly I think the guys (and girls as well) who don’t have posters on their walls are bland. I have hundreds of posters and little flags and items and pictures and such on my walls. A person’s room defines who that person is, and if they don’t have anything on their walls….I don’t know those kind of rooms are just awkward and not very homie

P.S. you’re never too old to have posters, I know a 30 year old with so many things on her walls you can’t see her walls anymore and she still adds new things every week…=)
