I’m a broke college student that would LOVE to plaster her wall with movie posters. since i don’t have much money, i was wondering if i could just take the photos of movie posters from the internet and have them printed out somewhere in a large size, like kinkos or something. ive been looking at poster sites online, but theyre pretty much too expensive. so….is it possible??

Okay so I make some money doing canvas pictures and I think I would sell a lot more if I was doing iconic pictures of celebs and movie posters. I’ve seen other people selling these on e-bay and I was wondering what the copyright laws are on this? If it’s not legal, what can I do to make it legal, as I’m sure these people don’t own the pictures?

Are official movie posters one sided or double sided? I’m trying to buy a Twilight movie poster, but some say one sided and then others say double sided. Which one means its official and not a reprint.

I know lots of people here have asked if it is legal to sell portraits of celebrities and things like that. But I wanted to know if it is ok to put portraits of famous people (from like movie posters and stuff) and a little bit of fan-art in my online portfolio. Not to make a profit out of it but just to show off my skills really. :-/

I don’t want to pay anything, but if I have to I guess I will. I’m more interested, however, in getting them for free. You know how in movie theaters they have all those cardboard cutouts, movie posters, etc. I also don’t really want to ask anyone at the theater for them.

Hi.

I see how many people are able to get genuine movie posters that look like they were hung up as advertisements previously. My question is how I can get a hold of movie posters that I could get for free, and hand them up in my room lets say, or my den, etc.

This is all with no printing, purchasing on my part, just getting them for free.

Anyone?
