I never really thought about it until I started reading comments on here from posters in Canada, UK and other countries about how good they have it when it comes to pregnancy and maternity leave. In America most people who rely on work for the money and cannot afford to take much time off only get six weeks maternity leave mainly because a great part of maternity leave for American women is unpaid. That doesnt count for any extra time off before the baby is born if you run into pains or complications before the birth. This makes breastfeeding which is so highly recommended during the first year a big challenge when going back to work so soon. I have heard of year long and even longer maternity leaves. How does this work if you live in one of those countries? Is is paid, unpaid, gauranteed etc? I think US maternity leave takes away from potential bonding time for the family. Does anyone else feel that women in the US get the short end of the stick when it comes to pregnancy and maternity leave?

I have a photograph of a celebrity that I think looks very cool (it’s a guitarist on stage). I was thinking of printing up a few copies in a poster size and trying to sell them. The guitarist is now dead, and for that matter has been dead for 17 years now (can you guess who it is?). I’m just thinking it would look cool to have it matted and framed and hung on a wall and I’m sure others would like that too. I’m not trying to get rich, but I would have to charge something. Is that legal? At the show that night, they expressly allowed cameras, so I took the photo legally with my own camera. The guitarist’s estate probably still makes money off his image though, and I’m concerned I might get sued. I’m not really doing it for profit, just love of the guitarist.

My little brohter always gets the royal treatment. He is 3.5 years younger than me, and he always gets treated better than me. His room Has an air hockey table, two room closet, giant posters, sport style locker shelves on his walls, every sport collectible you can imagine, a TV that the Patriots gave him, and nice wall trim, freshly painted walls, and sporty curtains. All I’ve got is a room painted baby blue from twelve years ago, no trim, a big opening in my wall that is being covered by a blanket, only storm windows, a filled in shelf with an un-sanded, un-painted piece of sheet rock, an un-painted closet, a TV that I bought with my own money, hundreds of little tack holes in the walls, and a big one where the door handle is, because there is no door stop. Speaking of doors, mine has chipped paint and tape stuck all over it. My mom asked me to clean my room and also vacuum my brothers room today!

instead of painting my new room i want to cover the walls in posters. that will cost alot of money, so i want cheaper ones, please. i want like rock/punk/emo/hardcore band posters but i dont want them to be like 10 dollars each.
