I see all these signed posters by Billie Joe Armstrong but I don’t know where to get the posters. I don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars so I have decided to write a letter (don’t worry I got no money, but A LOT of time, I’m only 12). So I’ve never done this before. Are the pictures you send in usually big like 16"X24", or like a piece of paper, or both? If they’re both or big where would I get a live concert poster of Billie Joe Armstrong? Do people get the pictures enlarged to poster size or just find them, if so where? So here’s my question in two sentences if you didn’t get what I was saying. —> So when people send celebrities pictures to sign are the usually big (poster size) or small (piece of paper size)? Where do you get live concert posters of Billie Joe Armstrong or a good quality one that I could enlarge.
Thanks.

I am from the US and I love the band One Direction, and they are from the UK. Only the UK has their merchandise, like posters and things like that. Could I buy them online and get them shipped to the US? Does the UK have different money, and if they do, do I need that money to buy the things I want? Please answer, thanks in advance.

Okay so I make some money doing canvas pictures and I think I would sell a lot more if I was doing iconic pictures of celebs and movie posters. I’ve seen other people selling these on e-bay and I was wondering what the copyright laws are on this? If it’s not legal, what can I do to make it legal, as I’m sure these people don’t own the pictures?

I have fanttasized about making love with Joan Jett. I would never go out with her. Taylor Swift is hot too. Never go out with her either. Fergie. I think I’ll pass. Jane Lynch would be a funny date but I don’t think her female husband would go for it. Seriously, no. No thanks.
I prefer to date a woman that is not in the spot light. I don’t like eating dinners by myself while my lady is out shooting a film or recording a CD. I prefer the old fashioned kind of girl. You know. Likes kids and doesn’t mind having a few with me. Several. Half a dozen maybe if I’m lucky,
Call me old fashioned. I don’t want to date a woman who is famous. No thanks. I also don’t want to date a woman who makes more money than I do or does work that is in a higher socio economic bracket than my own. I would just feel like I was her gigolo. If you say that you are rich and make a lot of money it’s time for the check and the dinner date is over. But that is another question for another time.
Taylor Swift, I will put your poster on my wall but I would never date you in a million years.
Guys would you ever date a female celebrity?
Well, maybe one date with a female celebrity and maybe hook up. But I would not get involved in a serious relationship with that kind of a woman. Definitely not.
The Body Guard. Is that the one with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston? I would never date Whitney Houston. Bobby Brown can have her. That’s My Porogative.

Please don’t reply wtih Ebay or craigslist!! I am looking for a reputable buyer on the internet or in a local store. I live in the SF Bay Area, CA. I have about 20 posters, some well known, Janis Joplin, The Doors, etc. others not so well known. The more high profile ones are "Bill Graham Presents" done by the legendary Randy Tuten in the 60’s. I am not familiar with the sixties music poster collecting community, so I don’t know if I need to have them professionally appraised and authenticated before selling them. Would this get me more money for them in the long run??

Hi Eric Lacat was saved in Seillans – South of France – howling outside a villa which had all the shutters closed – we were staying just up the road and heard him in distress – no one wants him – after putting up posters asking all neighbours and bar/cafe owners – he is not wanted – we want him but need some help – we have been looking after him and have temporary homes for the next 3 weeks after which he has his blood test – we have had him micro chipped and he has had his injections – we need a home for him for 6 months only – we will then be able to get him a UK pet passport – we would like him to be with people as a cattery would not suit him – he is a really beautiful and friendly little guy – around 12 weeks old but he looks younger – a little thin – someone in the village has offerred at 500 euros but we know he may only be doing this for the money – so the question is – do you know of anyone who may be able to help-know that this is a long shot but if anyone out there can help

I’m doing a 73mile sponsored walk with my dog to raise money for Staffy Rescue, I would like to put some statistics on the letters and posters we’re making up for sponsorship. I read once somewhere that over 50% of dogs in rescues in the UK are Staffy’s or Staffy crosses, but I can’t remember where I read it!

I know that it is quite a high percentage and that most people don’t realise this but I don’t want to put it on unless I can back it up does anyone know where I can find info on how many dogs are in rescues in the UK broken down into breeds/types?

Thanks

An interesting question came up a few minutes ago, and people generally agreed that the UK is far less religious than the UK. It seems that Religion is very prominent, in the US with Televangelists, "in god we trust." on money. Posters stuck up everywhere, debate as to weather ID should be taught alongside evolution. Whilst in the UK I have never seen any of this sort of thing. In the UK there are people who are religious (far fewer in statistical terms) are not so loud and proud about it, compared to what I have experienced in the US.

what do you think makes us (two culturally similar nations really) think so differently about religion?
"n interesting question came up a few minutes ago, and people generally agreed that the UK is far less religious than the UK. " Sorry Typo, I meant to say that the UK is far less religious than the US
To Nicole, people are allowed handguns, (little known though) but the controls for getting one are very very tight and controls about getting a gun in general are much tighter over here, but that is because lessons were learned from the Dunblane Massacre. But it seems to me, lessons have not been learned from columbine, or Virgina tech, and guns are more important to the US population than the safety of their kids. Our economy is also actually very good, go onto google, and type pound to dollar, and tell me what you see?
