I adore the Beatles, I mean I have around 140 of their songs on my ipod, and my room and closets are decked out in pictures posters and tee shirts. But I really want to find some more great music, something that can actually compete with The Beatles, please nothing like the sad excuses for music today, please list either only artists or their songs as well.

I’m trying to track down more information on a uk illustrator called Alun Hood. I’ve got a black and white illustrated poster from 1968, based on the Beatles lyrics ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’, with his name on the bottom of it. Google only drags up some details on his past work, so I was trying to find any reference sites on modern day illustrators / artists?

i need to do a project and im doing a poster on the hamburg germany music scene because the beatles started there and theyre my fav band but i cant find any other bands that played there as well

Im thinking of redoing my room. I want posters of older bands, guitar stuff, funky rugs (its going to be music themed) Like for instance I was thinking of A beatles Abbey Road poster and stuff like that. I’m planning on opening a sports bar, and I’d like to have lots of band posters on the wall as part of the theme, i.e. – pink floyd, jimi hendrix, the beatles, nirvana, etc.

On these bulletin board type sites, people often will reply to a certain part of something. An example,

First poster: I love The Beatles. They are the best sports team ever.

Replying poster: "They are the best sports team ever"
They were a band, not a sports team.

People usually put what was already said in italics, I put it in quotes. How do they do this?
