I’m a college student majoring in Art, and to make some extra money while I’m at school I like to make pop art posters of celebrities. I’m just curious what celebrities (athletes, musicians, actors, reality stars, tv characters, etc) people would be most likely to buy posters of.

Also, I’m interested in what other subjects people would be buy art prints of?

I’ve have few prints from Glee and The Office, i’m not really sure what would be popular to sell on my store, if i could get some suggestions. Thanks so much!

On many posters and DVD covers, I’ve noticed that the names of the two main actors in a film will have their names above the opposite person’s picture. Any reason why they don’t just line the names up with the people?

I realised that this might be confusing. What I mean is after they make a movie out of a book, sometimes they put the actors from the movie on the cover of the book, instead of the original cover. How do you feel about that?

Personally, I hate it.

I see this all the time and it really annoys me. Do they do it on purpose as some sort of tradition. Why can’t they just list the actors names as their faces appear on the poster?

The top will print names from left to right. Then below, the actors are always shown in a different order.
About any movie with more than one face on it always does this. Check out 5 movie covers, and I bet at least 3 will have this problem. Driven me crazy for years. Am I the only person who ever noticed this?

Over the years you watch movie after movie and you have favorite actors/singers/talk show host,etc that you reall like. You may join a fan club, you may just watch their movies, you might have posters of them, perhaps you go to thier concerts,you probably read about them and know their history,do you feel close to them in any way even though you dont know them?

I’ve been a fan of some celebrities for years, I watched all their movies, read biographies, watched interviews and see the things they do to helo others. I think I would be sad if anything happened to Jackie Chan. I miss Steve Irwin.

Ok so i have to make a movie poster for a project and i have to do the box like thing at the bottom(u know the thing that has the actors names,director, starts off like something like this: Universal Studios presents in association with Jerry Lynn production….) u get the drift. SO what is that thing called and what else does it include.

On Ebay they sell autographed memerabilia, cd´s, posters, ect of celebrities, singers, actors, ect and people bid on them but are those memorabilia really signed by the actual celebrity or is it fake? like signed by an imposter/person trying to sell the product or by the actual celebrity? thoughts.

I really like the photographs of actors imposed and designed in movie posters and I’m just curious if the name of the photographer actually appears on the credits at the end of a movie. If so where online could I find out? I tried IMDB.com and some other places but no luck. I keep trying the name of the photographer that took the pix of Robert Downy Jr. and Jude Law for the Sherlock Holmes movie but so far no luck.
