Hi I’m looking for stores in Virginia Beach, VA or Norfolk, VA to go and buy Movie posters, possible vintage movie posters, but I can’t seem to find actual stores that sell them, and I don’t want to buy online. Any suggesstions?

On many posters and DVD covers, I’ve noticed that the names of the two main actors in a film will have their names above the opposite person’s picture. Any reason why they don’t just line the names up with the people?

I love making fan art of my favorite shows on Photoshop. I’d love to make Movie Posters and CD covers and things like that, but I don’t know what i’d major or minor in in college. Can anyone tell me what I’d have to major/minor in to get a job like this? And what’s their job title? Graphic Designer?

I’ve always wondered where Movie Posters go after they have been used in Movie Theaters and Video Stores? Does anyone know where they are sent to or are they thrown away?Please Advise.

I’m looking to make several hundred on these, and these posters date from 1980’s – 2010
eBay and Amazon are ok but it’s hard to get a buyer for those… considering the price I want, because these are pretty valuable.

I’m just curious because my uncle is a teacher & he’s in charge of the prom committee & their theme is a night in Hollywood. He was wondering what the theaters do with all the posters & standees that promote upcoming attractions, because he could use them as decorations for this theme. If anybody really knows what they do with them, or if you can contact people about it let me know! Thanks.

I mean, I did download some movie posters from Impawards.com but I’m not sure if it’s legal or not. I also am concerned from the Fair Rights "law" and not sure what it means. If it’s illegal, I’m definitely going to delete them.
So, is it legal or not?
Also, the movie poster downloading is not for commercial uses, but instead for personal uses.

My boyfriend is a movie fanatic and I want to get him the Predator movie (his favorite movie) poster framed to give to him for his birthday. Where can I get some good posters? Also for you movie fanatics do you think thats a good idea?
